"The Arnold Arboretum - Photographs by Erik Gehring"

Boston Camera Club President Erik Gehring will be exhibiting images from his extensive Arnold Arboretum portfolio at EP Levine in Waltham, MA in October.  "The Arnold Arboretum - Photographs by Erik Gehring" runs from October 7 - November 1, 2013, and the reception is scheduled for Friday, October 18, from 6 - 8 pm.  EP Levine is New England's Premier Resource for the Professional Photographer.  They are located at 219 Bear Hill Road, Waltham, MA 02451, and their normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 830 am - 530 pm, and Saturday from 10 am - 3 pm.

Erik Gehring is the President of the Boston Camera Club and a freelance photographer specializing in natural landscapes.  He lives in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston with his wife Julie and sons Carl and William.  Although Erik enjoys photographing throughout New England, his favorite destination is Boston’s Arnold Arboretum, and for the last six years he has published a calendar of images taken in the Arboretum landscape entitled Trees of Boston.
Erik’s work has appeared in the Boston Globe, the Cape Cod Times, Northern Woodlands, E the Environmental Magazine, and AMC’s Outdoors, and he has shown his fine art work at galleries throughout eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire.  Erik also teaches photography classes for the Arboretum, the Eliot School in Jamaica Plain, the Concord Art Association, and the Hyde Park Art Association, and he has lectured at the Griffin Museum of Photography and the Milton Public Library among other organizations.  You can visit him online at www.erikgehring.com.
