Massachusetts Camera Naturalists (Camnats) International Nature Exhibition Judging

Massachusetts Camera Naturalists (Camnats)
International Nature Exhibition Judging
“Camnats” is a by-invitation-only organization dedicated to the art and teaching of nature photography who will be conducting a Nature International Exhibition in May, which will be judged at the Greater Lynn Photographic Assoc. headquarters at 564 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01905 on May 12. The closing date for entries is May 7, 2012. The chairman of the exhibition is “Camnats” president, Charlie Burke, APSA, EPSA. The judges for the exhibition are three of New England’s top nature photographers and “Camnats” members; Rick Cloran, FPSA, MPSA, MNEC; John Fuller, FPSA, AFIAP; and Jake Mosser, FPSA, EPSA, HonNEC.
There are two sections available to enter, open and wildlife. You may enter four images in each section and you may enter either one section or both sections. The cost is $6 for one section and $8 for both. They will not print a catalog, but an online version will be available. Several medals will be awarded in various categories such as wildflower, insect, landscape, seascape, underwater, and a diversity award in both sections.
We have a lot of excellent nature photographers in New England who could easily get acceptances in this exhibition. Give it a try. The entry process is just like the Greater Lynn International and you can pay online with PayPal. The one difference is the image sizing. Please read the instructions as this sizing is a bit larger than 1024 x 768. Entry forms and information can be found online at www.camnats.org.
Whether you enter or not, drop down to the GLPA headquarters to view some of the judging.
A show of the accepted images will also be held at Greater Lynn headquarters for the public on Saturday, June 23, at 2:00 P.M. Hope you will all plan to attend.
