Greater Lynn International Exhibition April 3rd and 4th

The Greater Lynn Photographic Association announces the venue for this year's exhibition show. The show will be at GLPA headquarters, 564 Boston St. Lynn, Ma 01905, on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at 2 PM and on Monday, April 4, 2011, at 7:30 PM. This years exhibition had 1359 entrants with over 5400 images from 31 states and 59 different countries. Over 300 entrants came from New England Clubs who were all trying to win the best club medal. That honor went to Boston West Photo Society, of Framingham, MA. Please join us to see this spectacular array of images from all four corners of the earth. This years exhibition has some very unique images in it.

The multi-media showcase is being put together by two Greater Lynn talented audio-visual producers, Dan Charbonnet, FPSA, MNEC, and Barbara Rozavsky, MNEC. The show will run approximately 90 minutes with a short intermission. It will contain about 1700 of the higher scoring images that were "accepted into the exhibition" by the judging panel: William Barnett EPSA, AFIAP, MNEC, of Connecticut, Marilyn Cloran, FPSA, MNEC, of Massachusetts, and Gerry Emmerich, FPSA, of Wisconsin. The admission cost is $8 for non-members of Greater Lynn Photographic Society. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from Merle Gordon quiltgalmerle@comcast.net.

Please visit www.greaterlynnphoto.org, for more information and directions to the club. The medal winning images are also on display in a gallery on the web site. After the show we will present the Medals to those winners who are in attendance. If you entered the exhibition, your catalog will be available for you at the show.
