Birds of Prey Outdoor Photography Session

dditional Birds of Prey Outdoor Photography Session
I am organizing a SECOND two hour photography trip to Wingmasters on Saturday, November 17th (rain date Sunday, November 18th).   We will meet near Deerfield, MA and carpool to Leverett, MA where we will meet Jim, Julie and their Birds of Prey.  We should have the chance to photograph owls, hawks, falcons and possibly a golden eagle.  I have led many trips to their location and you can’t ask for much more than what Jim and Julie offer.  They are both artists and will put most of the birds in trees with the jesses/leashes hidden which allows for some great photos!  They even put screech owls together for the first time!

We will probably meet around noon and then travel to Leverett with photographing from 1-3 p.m. at Wingmasters.  The trip is limited to 12 people and the cost is $50 per person.  I have about 6 of the 12 slots available since I had so many sign up for the morning session the wait list grew.  We would love to have a second session on the 17th and just need some more interest.

Please contact Debbie Koundry to reserve your spot at 203-558-2372 or email ddonofrio@snet.net no later than November 10th.

From Wingmasters website:
Wingmasters is a partnership of two people dedicated to increasing public understanding and appreciation of North American birds of prey.  Julie Anne Collier and Jim Parks are both licensed raptor rehabilitators based in Massachusetts.  Together they care for injured birds of prey.  Most of the birds they rehabilitate can ultimately be released back into the wild, but in some cases the birds are left permanently handicapped.  Julie and Jim are further licensed to provide a home for these nonreleasable raptors, and to use them for educational programs.  Since 1994 Wingmasters has presented over 5000 programs at schools, libraries and museums throughout New England.
