We are sponsoring a program in Abstract Composites presented by Michael Pressman at our next meeting which will be the evening of Wednesday November 7th at 7pm in the café at the Madison Senior Center in Madison, Connecticut. The Coastal Camera Club is hosting guest speaker Michael Pressman at the club’s regular meeting on Wednesday night, November 7th at 7pm in the Madison Senior Center. The title of the program is “Abstract Composites”. This event is free and open to the public. Mr. Pressman is a life-long photographer and has exhibited his nature and digital art photography in the New York City metro area. Since his recent move to the Connecticut shoreline, he has had solo shows in Westbrook and Chester. Some of his work can be viewed on his website at http://www.michaelpressmanphotography.com.
Mr. Pressman spent more than thirty years as a national broadcast journalist for both ABC News and NBC News on programs that included ABC News 20/20, Dateline NBC, and the Today show. Mostly working in “long-form” – news magazines and documentaries – as a producer, director and writer, he is the recipient of the Overseas Press Club’s Edward R. Murrow Award, Emmy and Cine Golden Eagle awards.
The Coastal Camera Club is a group of area residents that share an interest in developing and improving their photography skills. The club conducts instructional programs and holds exhibits and competitions throughout the year. Meetings are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month at 7pm in the café at the Madison Senior Center at 29 Bradley Road in Madison.
