The photographs were taken by Dana Hoffman. Richard Sereque, the NECCC web master, then selected, sequenced, and edited the ones that appear on the web site. Thank you to both of these hard working individuals for making these photographs available.

Interclub Competitions for 2010-2011
NECCC offers a number of interclub competitions for it's member clubs. There are print competitions in both color and black and white and electronic (digital) competitions in pictorial and nature. The rules for these competitions were part of the Club Services Packet distributed to all club presidents and they are also available for download from the NECCC Internet site. Click to go to the Club Services Packet page.
This is sign-up time for the next season of these competitions. If your club has not yet signed up and paid the required fees, be sure to do so in the near future. There are forms to fill out for the print competitions while e-mail is used for the electronic competitions, though of course the check must be sent by old fashioned snail mail.
These competitions give your club the opportunity to measure yourselves against the other clubs in New England and win awards for your members. These competitions are only one of many services for member clubs offered by the New England Camera Club Council. Take advantage of the opportunity.

This information, the Club Services Packet, has now also been posted on the Council Internet site. Click to view the Table of Contents and download PDF documents of interest to you.
Some of the items require immediate attention such as registering your club for the Electronic Photograph (digital) and Print interclub competitions. Other items such as the Constitution and By-laws are simply for your information. Several items have spring deadlines so be sure to revisit the list periodically to be sure your club doesn't miss out.

Hotels for the Summer Conference
Most attendees at the Summer NECCC Conference stay in the university dormitories. This is the least expensive option and most convenient since no driving is required during the weekend. Staying in a dormitory has also become a much more attractive option since the air conditioned, North Dormitory opened.
However, there are still a few of you who prefer off-campus accommodations. If so, now is the time to get your reservations. There are a number of other conferences in Amherst at the same time as the NECCC conference and hotel space is quite tight. A list of hotels in the Amherst area is on the NECCC Internet site. Click here to view it.
The conference co-chairs have already begun planning another exciting conference for July 15-17, 2011. Plan now to attend.
