The Flagpole Photographers will hold a photography exhibit at the Cyrenius H. Booth Library, 25 Main St., Newtown, CT. The library is located just south of the flagpole on Main Street (Route 25). Members of all area camera clubs as well as the general public are invited to view the exhibit. An opening reception will be held on April 2, 2011, in the first floor meeting room from 3:30 to 5:00 p.m. After the reception the show is open during library hours through April 26, 2011.

Photography Conference Details Available
The exciting news all of you have been waiting for: the details of the 2011 NECCC Photography Conference are now posted on the NECCC web site. Go to www.NECCC.org and click on the Next Conference tab along the left hand side. You will find the Conference Preview that lists all the programs and other activities planned for the conference, a registration form, a link to the on-line registration form, a call for models for the conference, a campus map, and a list of area hotels if you prefer to stay off campus during the conference.
You can attend programs or photograph the models and other photo opportunities; there is a mini-seminar series on macro photography; on Saturday evening there is a hot air balloon inflation and tethered glow, and an ice cream social; there are conference competitions in digital images and prints; and so many other events that no one will be bored. If you love photography this is the place to be July 15-17, 2011.

Winter Interclub Print Competition Results Posted
Art Vaughan, MNEC, Director of the NECCC Interclub Print Competitions, has posted the results of the Winter competition on the NECCC web site. In this competition the club winners were:
- B&W, Class A: Greater Lynn Photographic Association
- B&W, Class B: Seacoast Camera Club
- Color: Springfield Photographic Society
The individual photographers who won first place were:
- B&W Class A: Greg Bartosik from the Greater Lynn Photographic Association with Midnight Colosseum
- B&W Class B: David Klegon from the Boston Camera Club with Atlantic Avenue
- Color (Tie): Barbara Vietzke from the New Haven Camera Club with From My Front Yard and Lori Rha from the Norwalk Camera Club with Tree Island in Deep Fog

Greater Lynn International Exhibition April 3rd and 4th
The Greater Lynn Photographic Association announces the venue for this year's exhibition show. The show will be at GLPA headquarters, 564 Boston St. Lynn, Ma 01905, on Sunday, April 3, 2011, at 2 PM and on Monday, April 4, 2011, at 7:30 PM. This years exhibition had 1359 entrants with over 5400 images from 31 states and 59 different countries. Over 300 entrants came from New England Clubs who were all trying to win the best club medal. That honor went to Boston West Photo Society, of Framingham, MA. Please join us to see this spectacular array of images from all four corners of the earth. This years exhibition has some very unique images in it.
The multi-media showcase is being put together by two Greater Lynn talented audio-visual producers, Dan Charbonnet, FPSA, MNEC, and Barbara Rozavsky, MNEC. The show will run approximately 90 minutes with a short intermission. It will contain about 1700 of the higher scoring images that were "accepted into the exhibition" by the judging panel: William Barnett EPSA, AFIAP, MNEC, of Connecticut, Marilyn Cloran, FPSA, MNEC, of Massachusetts, and Gerry Emmerich, FPSA, of Wisconsin. The admission cost is $8 for non-members of Greater Lynn Photographic Society. Tickets are available at the door or in advance from Merle Gordon quiltgalmerle@comcast.net.

Spring NECCC Print Interclub Judging March 14, 2011
The Norwalk Camera Club, host club for the Spring NECCC Interclub Print Competition, has extended an invitation to members of all area camera clubs to attend the judging. It will be held at 7:45 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Earthplace, 10 Woodside Lane, Westport, CT.
