The Waterside Woolen Mill was built in 1860's and is still operating on the original equipment. The mill is located 21 miles NW of Breezewood PA. The Waterside Woolen Mill is one of the oldest operating woolen mills is the USA. The mill was built on land deeded by the heirs of William Penn to Abraham Oberholtzer in 1785. In 1806 John Snider purchased the land and erected a mill on the banks of Yellow Creek.

-How use your new watermark brush to stamp photograph
-Resizing your image for the Internet
-the best colorspace for your Internet photos 

If we have time we might talk about saving some of these tasks as an action

As Co-Chairman of the conference we would like to apologize to Sigma and Tamron for poor word choice and editing on our part in the write-up in the printed mailed flyer. The revised write-up is below:

PHOTOGRAPHIC LOANER EQUIPMENT

See information sheet in registration package with details as to days, times and procedures. Attendees will be allowed to borrow equipment for 90 minutes at a time and must have a valid driver’s license & major credit card for identification and copying.

Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony andTamron will have their top-of-the-line equipment (cameras and lenses) available for attendees to borrow Friday and Saturday. All companies will allow the equipment to be kept overnight Saturday for the Sunday AM event. Sunday 8:30-9:30 am is return only. You must have your own memory card for camera body use. 

 Canon will also be offering a print from the Pixma Print Group to all attendees. Please come prepared with your image on a USB flash drive. Save the print file (Tiff, PSD, or JPEG) in a folder labeled Canon with your name on the file and USB drive. They will size the image. 

Canon, Fuji, Nikon, Olympus, Panasonic, Sigma, Sony and Tamron will be located in the Campus Center (lower level vendor area).

but we will be able to walk the grounds, go into the cages, walk into the Giraffe house, the Rhino house, Kodak film selling yellow stores, see the mini-golf - great place for a photo shoot, a snapshot into the past of this historic landmark. I grew up in th Catskills and we used to go there on school trips -- and it was a real trip to be able to walk into the animal cages and photograph from inside!!
