Night Photography Workshop with Lance Keimig April 26, 27, and 28, 2013
3 Session Night Photography Workshop with Lance Keimig
Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings – April 26, 27 and 28
Session one: 2.5 hour classroom session to cover introductions and expectations, the basics of night photography, and to get everyone’s cameras set up for shooting at night – followed by a 3.5 hour urban shoot with ambient artificial light.
Session two: a 3-4 hour classroom session to review the images from the previous night and go over developing them in Lightroom, instruction on light painting, followed by a second night of shooting in a darker landscape environment to take advantage of moonlight and light painting and light drawing techniques.
Session three: The third session would repeat the second session with a different shooting location and another critique. This gives students an opportunity to build on their experiences and learn from their mistakes on the first and second nights.
