Mission Statement: Cape Cod Viewfinders
Camera Club serves the Cape Cod area and is dedicated to promoting the study,
understanding, improvement and enjoyment of photography. We encourage
participation by photographers of every skill level, from the newest beginners
to the most advanced amateurs and working professionals.
Here
you can effectively learn from experts and dedicated advanced amateurs all
aspects of photography. Highlights of membership include in-depth lectures,
club and interclub competitions, field trips, slide shows, critique nights,
hands-on learning sessions, member exhibits, and special events. Each meeting
includes a social segment with refreshments.
The
print and digital club competitions are judged by qualified outside judges who
give constructive evaluation of each image, along with a point value.
Competitions can be a great learning experience, providing insight into how
images might be improved to create prize-winning images.
The
Cape Cod Viewfinders CC is a member of the Photographic Society of America (PSA) and the New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) and we compete in
both PSA (PID and Nature) and NECCC competitions (Color Prints, B/W Prints,

What
is something about your club that we might not know: We are a mixture of “wash ashores” from off
cape camera clubs and “Daughters of the American Colonialists”, DAC members.
Three
words that describe your club: competitive, fun, educational.
