Creating meaningful art, mat cutting and framing

Mat Cutting with Ron Rosenstock
This one-day workshop is designed for anyone wishing to perfect their mat cutting and framing skills and to learn more about creating meaningful art and preparing their art for presentation. The morning session will be on creating meaningful art. Ron will draw on his 50 years of experience in sharing his philosophy and also having everyone do an exercise he created based on Mister Eckhart’s quote: “Art is not just for special people but everyone is a special kind of an artist.”  After lunch Ron will demonstrate mat cutting and framing to museum standards. Everyone will have a hands-on opportunity to cut mats.  Ron will supply everything needed for this workshop, just bring a lunch. Min. 8 / Max. 12 students
