3.5 hour workshop Saturday May 13, 2017
We are pleased to invite you to Greater Lynn for this suburb learning experience.
Date: Saturday March 13, 2017 Time: 9 AM – 12:30 PM
Place: Greater Lynn Photographic Assoc. Headquarters- 564 Boston St, Lynn, MA 01905-Plenty of parking behind club or in church lot next door to club. A map to the club will be emailed to you with your confirmation of registration.
Cost: $40 per person via mailed check or via PayPal (non-refundable but transferable)
For this 3 ½ hour hands-on workshop you will need a laptop and a basic understanding of Lightroom. You will also need Lightroom CC downloaded to your laptop. If you do not have Lightroom CC you can use Lightroom 5 or you can download a trial version of Lightroom CC to learn with and then purchase the version after the course when you have a clearer understanding of what it does for you and what can be done with it.
The Lightroom course will cover the following:
1. Importing your images from the Library Module
2. The entire Develop Module-which includes: Exposure, Contrast, Highlights, Shadows, Blacks, Whites, Curves, Clarity, Saturation, Vibrance, HSL/Color/B&W, Split Toning, Lens Correction and Noise Reduction
3. If time allows, there will also be a demonstration on how to use plug-in’s.
The course is listed as basic to intermediate. Electricity will be provided at your seat and there will be helpers available during the course to assist you, should you have questions. There will be a short break mid morning.
