Lynn, MA – The Fine Arts Photography group of the Greater Lynn Photographic Association will be having its first Fine Art Photography Exhibition. The Opening Reception for this Fine Art Photography Exhibition will be on Sunday, September 16th from 3-5 p.m. at the Greater Lynn Photographic Association, 564 Boston St. Lynn, Massachusetts.
The exhibition is being dedicated to the memory of long time Greater Lynn Photographic Association member Susan Conley.
The exhibition will highlight approximately 50 fine art photographs from 14 of the group’s members, featuring a variety of subjects in both color and black & white.
The Fine Art Photography Group is one of many groups within the Greater Lynn Photographic Association. The group has approximately 30 members who meet once a month from September to May to discuss fine art photography subjects such as photographers, trends, techniques and to critique each other's work for the goal of improving their photographic skills and work.
The Greater Lynn Photographic Association is a group of photo-hobbyists dedicated to "teaching the craft of the camera and exploring the art of photography." It was founded in 181885. The membership is a group of serious photographers ranging from young adults to retirees and from total beginners to a Pulitzer Prize winning professional with most of us somewhere in between. Membership is open to everyone, and neither a photographic portfolio nor fancy camera equipment is required, just a love for photography.
