March presentation at Charter Oak Photographic Society - "Mirrorless Cameras"
Mirrorless cameras
On Monday, March 28, 2016, Charter Oak Photographic Society will be giving a program on "Mirrorless Cameras." An open invitation is being sent to anyone interested in this informative presentation. The meeting time is 7:15 pm and will take place at Charter Oak's meeting place: Elmwood Community Church, 26 Newington Road, West Hartford, CT. If needed, directions to the Elmwood Community Church can be found at Charter Oak's website at: www.charteroakphoto.org.
Hunts Photo personnel will be presenting "Mirrorless Cameras", a discussion of the evolution of the digital camera from DSLR to Mirrorless. See how that small, lightweight cameras have comparable image quality to the same size sensor DSLRs.
Additionally, they provide features unavailable in most DSLR's that make picture taking more fun and easy. This includes the ability to use nearly any interchangeable lens from the past, easier ways to accurately focus, and precise exposure confirmation before taking the picture. See which models offer 4K Video, allowing excellent still images from video clips, Focus Stacking, in-camera automated Time-Lapse Photography, and Live Composite.
In addition, to these "new" features, the basic camera functions of focusing and images stabilization have been improved over DSLR's because of newer Mirrorless technology.
These are but just a few of the features you will find when you explore Mirrorless Camera technology.
Manufacturer reps will be present to answer your questions and show you their cameras.
