Vic Bargar, MNEC long time NECCC BOD member and Springfield Photo Soc member has passed away. Vic used to be in charge of the Medals and Awards and was past Chairman of the conference. He retired from the BOD a number of years ago. I have attached the obit below. Cards can be sent to his son:

Victor H. Bargar, 91, passed away on September 8, 2017 at East Village Place, East Longmeadow. He was a retired district sales manager for General Mills, Inc. He was an active member of the Longmeadow Congregational Church. As an active member of the Springfield Photographic Society and the Springfield Nature Photographers, he had an interest in our God given beauty in the world around us and preserving such images via photography to be shared with others. Originally from Kenmore, NY; he resided in Longmeadow since 1965. Predeceased by his parents Victor H. and Ellen G. (Braam) Bargar and his wife of 65 years Betty (Dickson) Bargar, who passed away in April, 2011, he leaves a daughter Katherine of Orlando, Florida; a son, James of Strongsville, Ohio, and a son, Scott of Dublin, Ohio. A memorial service will be held at First Church of Christ, 763 Longmeadow St. Longmeadow on Wednesday, October 3, 2017at 1:00 pm. Burial in Longmeadow Cemetery will be private for the family.
