Glennie Nature Salon is Open for Submissions

Glennie Nature Salon is Open for Submissions

Registration for the 36th George W. Glennie Nature Salon photographic competition is now open. Registration continues through March 3, 2016.  The salon is open to camera clubs and photographic associations worldwide.  Last year, we had close to 100 clubs submitting images for competition.
This is a premier, international all-nature club competition of digital images known for its diversity of subjects which range from animals to botany to landscapes.  In the animal categories, birds and mammals are usually well represented, but each year about a third of the entries are invertebrates, reptiles, amphibians or marine & freshwater life.
How to Enter
Registration is on-line.  Each club may submit up to 10 images, but no more than 2 from any one maker.  The club entry fee is $20 payable via PayPal.

Detailed competition rules and the instructions for submission are found on the Merrimack Valley Camera Club's Glennie Competition webpage.

Registration Improvements
We have simplified the registration process.  Improvements include eliminating redundant information, no more special file naming requirements, and file sizing checks at the time of submission.

We now have a flexible shipping address format to accommodate our international competitors.  Don't forget to include your country!  We've also added a club meeting location field (city, state/province) to allow photographer viewing your winning images in our slide show to find you.

You will receive an email confirming your submission.  Like all changes there may be unexpected issues.  If you encounter problems, or do not receive a confirmation email message; please email us at
