An intensive workshop featuring the guidance of Lead Instructor Damian Strohmeyer, a veteran photojournalist and sports photographer and member of the prestigious Canon Explorers of Light. Damian has been affiliated with Sports Illustrated for over twenty-five years and has completed more than 2,000 assignments for the magazine. He has captured some of the most iconic images in our sports history, in New England and beyond. His work has been featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated 70 times.
During this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to work directly with Damian as he shares his expertise and shows you techniques to make extraordinary sports portraits of your own. Damian will cover such topics as creating drama, positioning, modern, lighting for effect, exposure and much more. In the afternoon, you will apply these techniques while working with models on campus.
Canon Professional Services will provide students the opportunity to work with some of the finest Canon camera equipment on the market today…including an assortment of PRO DSLR bodies and lenses.
