Hubbard (NY) How to Improve your Travel and Landscape Photography: Choosing the
Right Lens
Geared to photographers who
want to learn to take better images of the subjects that mean the most to them. This seminar will take you from the first
steps of choosing what lens to use to evaluating your scene all the way to the
final output in print. Ken will also
discuss how to make the most of a somewhat less than ideal situation, such as
shooting in the middle of the day, and distracting elements in a scene. This
seminar is meant to improve your images from a quick snapshot to gallery

substrate choices – from the traditional inkjet papers to the alternatives
including
wood, metal
and silk. She will discuss the options for showing your work, from small art
books to large canvas prints. Making the right choice in printing can set your

Sheras Canon Basic Speedlite Course
This one-hour course will
start with the basics of why you want to use flash and how flash can improve
your photographs. We will explain how
the speedlite works, covering the manual, basic E and advanced ETTL flash modes.
We will also explore how to set your Canon speedlite in single flash and
wireless multi-flash modes. Finally, we
will talk about and demonstrate both the traditional Canon infrared wireless
system and the new Canon radio transmit system featuring the new Canon Speedlite

The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) is a non-profit umbrella group for camera clubs in the New England states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont). The Council was established in 1937 and incorporated in 1963. The Council sponsors a variety of events and services for the photographers of New England including an annual three-day photography conference each July at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, which is one of the largest in the United States.
