SHOWCASE THEATER

Karl Schanz, APSA, MNEC (MA) The World I've Seen
This program presents images from a diverse set of locations in the United States and around the world. Karl’s travels have brought him to some amazing locations to capture unbelievably beautiful scenes and subjects with his camera. He has paired the images with selections of music further enhances the experience, so that you can share his memories of his travels.

Mike Goodman, MNEC (NH) Favorite Images - Near & Far
I have assembled some of my most favorite photographs into a series of short musical photo-essays from the past few years. Many of the images were taken quite near - just a few miles from my New Hampshire home or maybe 3-4 hours by car up or down the coast. Some were taken in places requiring days of travel to reach. You will see snowmobile racing in the NH White Mountains, skimmers on Long Island, bird life in Florida and South Texas, snow geese and cranes in New Mexico, northern ethnic tribal people from Thailand, wildlife from Kenya and Sri Lanka, and landscapes from New Zealand’s Southern Alps and Iceland.

The New England Camera Club Council (NECCC) is a non-profit umbrella group for camera clubs in the New England states (Connecticut, Rhode Island, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Vermont).  The Council was established in 1937 and incorporated in 1963. The Council sponsors a variety of events and services for the photographers of New England including an annual three-day photography conference each July at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, which is one of the largest in the United States.  Over 1000 photographers from the U.S. and other countries attend our conference.  Attendees range from beginner to professional photographer. Find out more and Register Here.
