2014 OCEAN STATE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION OF PHOTOGRAPHY – Dual Projection
YOU ARE INVITED TO ENTER – The Photographic Society of Rhode Island (PSRI) invites all photographers everywhere to submit slides or digital images to the OCEAN STATE INTERNATIONAL EXHIBITION – Dual Projection. All phases of the exhibition will be conducted in accordance with the recommended practices of the Photographic Society of America and PID.

members aware of the Ocean State International Exhibition of Photography
hosted by the Photographic Society of Rhode Island.
If you can rally 6 or more member to entry all entrants from your club can receive the discount entry fee of $5 for four images.

2014 marks the 10th year for the Ocean State International Exhibition of Photography, a PSA sanctioned dual projection exhibition. As a dual projection exhibition, the OSI accepts both digital images and slides – possibly the only remaining exhibitions that allow film photographers to exhibit their work.
The Ocean State International will award 22 medals this year:
One PSA Gold Medal will be awarded for the “Best of Show”
One PSA Silver medal
Five PSRI Bronze medals
Three Judge’s Choice medals
One Best International Image medal
One NECCC medal for Best New England Image
One Yankee Photographic Society medal for Best PSRI Image
Two Chairman’s Choice medals will be awarded – one for digital, one for slides
One Highest Scoring Club medal will be awarded (6 highest scoring makers from same club to qualify)
Five Special Theme Medals (Best Nature, Best Landscape, Best Child, Best Domestic Animal, Best Portrait,
Best Flower)
Important dates for the OSI exhibition are:
October 25th – all entries must be received by midnight that night
November 1st – judging will take place and is open to the public (see website for time/location)
November 14th – report cards emailed to all participants
January 16th – Catalog e-mailed to all participants

Judges for the 2015 OSI exhibition are:
Susan Mosser, FPSA, HonNEC, exhibitor & judge
Raymond Guillette, HonNEC, exhibitor, presenter & judge
Steve Tierney, MNEC, PSRI member, exhibitor
Photographic clubs are encouraged to enter as a ‘club entry’ – where six or more members represent a club.
Club entry allows for reduced entry fees ($5.00 vs. $8.00 North American, or $11.00 International), as well as
consideration for the Highest Scoring Club Medal, and a copy of the accepted images show for free. Only clubs
can receive a show CD. This show can make a great camera club meeting night program.
The exhibition is proud to announce that all individuals (except slides) can enter online rate.
PayPal is the preferred method of payment. Each entrant is allowed up to 4 images per person for the entry fee.
Entrants can only enter once as an individual, but can be counted toward a club entry.
The 2014 Ocean State International is being hosted by the Photographic Society of Rhode Island.
