BMCC has been a membership organization since 1937 for
photographers – novice to expert - from in and round Berkshire County, MA. The
BMCC is dedicated to advancing the art of photography, beginning with black and
white film, progressing through stages of color film and now digital
photography. The Club offers educational experiences through workshops,
tutorials, field trips, competitions (7 per year divided between themed and
general) and guest speakers. The Club also offers a mentor program in the use
of Nikon and Canon cameras and post processing software such as Lightroom and
Photoshop. The Club further facilitates members’ entries into NECCC
competitions. Visitors are always welcomed at club meetings.
Meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays at 7:00 pm
during the academic year at the Berkshire Museum on South Street, Pittsfield
MA.
