This five-module, non-credit program is geared towards working professionals who are interested in gaining the skills needed for safe drone aviation, preparation to successfully pass the FAA exam, techniques for making quality aerial stills and videos using Photoshop and Final Cut Pro, and a better understanding of Px4d software for landscape mapping and 3D modeling. Each module is able to be completed as a stand-alone option and participants can customize the program depending on their particular areas of interest. Some modules have pre-requisites, which are listed below in the descriptions.
The video and photographic capabilities of aerial drones have a demonstrated benefit for police departments, fire departments, real estate agents, journalists, public works officers, surveyors, insurance adjusters, public utilities, and more. SCSU’s Drone Academy will provide a value-add for both the working professional, as well as the hobbyist, looking to take their skills to the next level.
This is the only program in our region where participants can learn all of this information in one comprehensive package. Register today as space is limited - SCSU Drone Academy.
