CAP APPRECIATION EVENT
This is a very special CAP event, where CAP appreciates YOU ! Speaker fees will be paid by CAP. Additionally, CAP will provide great door prizes, totaling $350 in gift cards to Hunt’s Photo. Your
attendance fee goes towards refreshments only.
Whether you have already travelled to Africa, plan on going to Africa or don’t think you will pay a visit, come and enjoy this wonderful night of great photography and great camaraderie. In a multimedia presentation of “Safari to Africa”, Ivan Rothman will take us with him on safari to seven African countries: Namibia, Botswana, Zambia, South Africa, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya. The images are accompanied by an exciting musical theme. Come see Africa through Ivan’s lens. Following the show, he will discuss tips on how to best travel to Africa and other distant locations for wildlife photography. This will include options for cameras and lenses, how to carry them onto a plane or in the field, camera support with tripods or beanbags, computer equipment and software for downloading, organizing and protecting the images. Who to travel with, how to get there and what are the health risks. And what are the living conditions like in the wild? In the camps, you would be amazed at how comfortable the tents can be and how good the food is, although some will complain about the small size of the swimming pools!!
